Enjoy Boston on a Budget!

 In Uncategorized

“Great parks, free art and brewery tours, brilliant cheap eats and gigs … Boston, America’s ‘walking city’, has loads for visitors to do without spending big bucks!”

To enjoy Boston on a budget, here are a few of our favorites:

Great Eats! In Chinatown, which is near the Theatre District, the Boston Commons and the Financial District, check out the many inexpensive and good-quality restaurants.

Catch a Show!  Berklee College of Music offers many free concerts at different venues around the city.

Sip for a Cause!  A favorite stop is the famous Samuel Adams Brewery for free tastings and tours in hopes you’ll leave the recommeneded $2 donation to help local charities.

View Art!  Visit the Boston Public Library.  Created in 1885 as a “palace for the people”, you can view spectacular murals and the magnificent courtyard during the free daily tours.

Visit a Piece of History!  As one of the oldest cities in the nation, Boston has a lot of history-related activities to offer. A must-see and free of charge is the USS Constitution– famous battleship from the American Revolutionary war.

There are so many ways to enjoy Boston without breaking your wallet!  Check out “10 of the best ways to enjoy Boston … on a budget” by The Guardian.
